The YT-2864 voltage monitor makes it possible to detect AC voltage, for example, in a household outlet or at the endsóof wiresówith two methods: contact and induction. CONTACT METHOD
Apply the arrowhead to a live circuit. The illumination of the LED indicates the flow of electric current through this element. Index Method
The method allows you to detect AC voltage in an insulated wire. CHECKING THE STATE OF BATTERIES
The tester allows you to check the state of batteries or rechargeableós designed to power a variety of electrical devices ranging from 1.5V to 9V. Apply the tester blade to the battery terminal marked „+”, touch the contact located on top of the handle, then touch the battery terminal marked „-”. When the LED lights up, it means that the battery or battery pack is charged. Do not use this method to test batteries or rechargeableós with higher voltage ratings. Do not test batteries or accumulatorsów connected to an electrical circuit.
WIRING CONTINUITY CHECK
Check the continuity of the wire by applying the tip to one end of the wire, then holding the contact located on top of the handle, grab the other end of the wire.
